Glenna Baker, cherished Tennessee matriarch, passes at 80; funeral services scheduled this week
Glenna Baker of Tazewell, Tennessee, passed away on May 3, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving behind a legacy as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Known for her faith and community devotion, Baker’s family and friends are gathering this week to honor her life and memory.
Baker was a lifelong member of Blairs Creek Baptist Church, where her early religious commitment shaped a life dedicated to spiritual and family values. She was saved at a young age and remained an active church member throughout her life.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 5 to 7 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. Following this, a funeral service will be held at 7 PM the same day in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service is scheduled for Friday, May 8, 2026, at 11 AM at Irish Memorial Gardens.
