Louis pursued higher education at Arizona State University before graduating from the University of Arizona and later earning his law degree from the South Bay University School of Law. He also leaves behind a thriving family of grandchildren: Jennifer Sher (and husband Rabbi Daniel), Steven Smith (and wife Kelby), Amanda Goldberg (and fiancé Zach), Andrew Goldberg (and wife Emily), Rachel Frazin Sofaer, and Sarah Bowens (and husband Brandon). His legacy continues through his great-grandchildren: Levi, Sami, Lily, Rory, and Ari.
A memorial service honoring Louis’s life was held on November 16, 2025, at Hillside Memorial Park in Los Angeles, California. Family and friends gathered to celebrate his contributions to their lives and the community.
