Solis Mammography has appointed Dr. Emily Sedgwick as its new Chief Medical Officer, effective November 19, 2025. Dr. Sedgwick is a fellowship-trained breast radiologist with a distinguished career that includes leadership positions at prominent institutions. She has previously served as the CEO of University Medical Center New Orleans and the Executive Chief Medical Officer at UK HealthCare. Her efforts in improving patient care and access to services have been recognized nationally, including her designation as Press Ganey National Physician of the Year.
In her new role, Dr. Sedgwick will focus on enhancing clinical leadership at Solis Mammography, ensuring the delivery of high-quality breast care across the communities it serves. Her initiatives have previously led to significant improvements in patient experience, notably eliminating an 89-day delay for follow-up procedures, such as biopsies, in underserved areas.
