UPDATE: A devastating crash in Saugus has left one person dead early Saturday morning. At 2:10 a.m., first responders from the Los Angeles County Fire Department and the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station rushed to the scene of a single-vehicle accident at the intersection of Cinema Drive and Bouquet Canyon Road.
Upon arrival, officials discovered a vehicle engulfed in flames after colliding with a pole. Sgt. Robert Garcia, a spokesperson for the SCV Sheriff’s Station, confirmed that preliminary investigations indicate the driver lost control for reasons that are still under investigation.
