O’Herin, formerly of Hawes Rd, Altamont, was cherished for his generous spirit, often helping friends in their times of need. His passing leaves a significant void in the lives of his four siblings and eleven nieces and nephews, who remembered him fondly.
In lieu of formal services, an informal Irish Wake is scheduled for November 16, 2023, from 12:30 to 5:00 p.m. at the Hedge Bistro, located within the Western Turnpike Golf Course. This gathering offers a chance for family and friends to celebrate O’Herin’s life and share fond memories.
The family has announced plans for a more formal celebration of life in the spring. They request that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the Guilderland Animal Shelter to honor O’Herin’s legacy of kindness and compassion.
