Authorine Marie (Dees) Boone, a dedicated professional and beloved family member, passed away on October 22, 2025, in West Palm Beach, FL. She was born on May 5, 1951, in Albany, NY, and lived a life marked by achievement and compassion.

The only daughter of the late Willie James Dees and Margaret (Dees) Sandifer, Authorine earned her Associate’s degree and dedicated her career to serving as an Executive Assistant at General Electric. Her professional journey was characterized by her commitment to excellence and her ability to support senior executives effectively.

Family Life and Relocation

Authorine married the late Paul Boone, and together they raised two daughters, Andrea and Paula, in Schenectady, NY. The family enjoyed a close-knit environment, where Authorine fostered a loving atmosphere filled with encouragement and support.

In 2010, Authorine relocated to Florida, seeking the warmth and beauty of coastal living. She embraced her new surroundings, finding joy in various hobbies, particularly crafting, which allowed her to express her creativity and connect with others.

Memorial Services and Legacy

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Authorine’s life during memorial services on November 8, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Wilborn Temple, located at 161 Jay St. Following the service, interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery in Albany, NY.
