Skoda Revives Classic 1000 MBX in Bold Electric Concept

UPDATE: Skoda has just unveiled an exciting concept that takes a nostalgic trip back to its roots with the revival of the legendary 1000 MBX. The original 1000 MBX saw a mere 1,403 units manufactured before its discontinuation in 1969, while an even rarer variant, the more powerful 1100 MBX, had only 1,114 models made. Skoda’s design team, led by Antti Savio and David Stingl, completed this striking digital concept in just four weeks, as part of their ongoing “Icons Get a Makeover” series.

This concept vehicle stays true to its ancestry with a boxy coupe silhouette, reminiscent of the original, but it introduces modern features like small, rear-hinged doors akin to the Mazda RX-8.
