Pro Bowl Games Head to Bay Area Ahead of Super Bowl LX
UPDATE: The Pro Bowl Games are set to electrify the Bay Area on February 3, 2026, coinciding with the excitement of Super Bowl LX. This year’s event will feature a highly anticipated AFC vs. NFC flag football game at the Moscone Center, marking a significant evolution in the Pro Bowl format.
The action kicks off at 3:30 p.m. PT with the Pro Bowl Games, leading into the flag football showdown at 5:00 p.m. PT. Fans can catch all the thrilling gameplay live on ESPN, Disney XD, and ESPN Deportes. This new format aims to spotlight the growing popularity of flag football, especially with its upcoming debut at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
Peter O’Reilly, NFL Executive Vice President of Events, emphasized the significance of this event:
“Building on our strong partnerships with the Bay Area Host Committee and ESPN, we’re thrilled to make the 2026 Pro Bowl Games presented by Verizon part of Super Bowl week, our biggest platform of the year.”
He added that the event will elevate flag football and showcase elite talent in a unique way, enhancing the excitement for fans.
The Pro Bowl voting will begin on Thanksgiving, November 27, giving fans a chance to participate in selecting their favorite players. This year’s Pro Bowl Games promise to be a captivating prelude to the Super Bowl, drawing sports enthusiasts from across the nation.
