UPDATE: The Santa Clarita Valley Mayor’s Committee for Employment of Individuals with Disabilities is set to hold an urgent breakfast on October 23, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at William S. Hart Hall, located at 24151 Newhall Ave., Newhall, CA. This event celebrates National Disability Employment Awareness Month and marks the 80th anniversary of NDEAM, emphasizing the vital contributions of individuals with disabilities to the workforce.
Moderated by Mayor Bill Miranda, the breakfast will address crucial topics such as skills-based hiring, the benefits of hiring individuals with disabilities, and real-time coaching strategies.
