Thunderbolts Host ‘Pucks and Paws’ Night to Support Rescue Pets

The Evansville Thunderbolts are set to host a special event named ‘Pucks and Paws’ on March 21, 2024, during their game against the Quad City Storm. This initiative aims to support the Warrick Humane Society (WHS) by donating a portion of ticket sales to aid in rescuing pets in need.

Fans attending the game at the Ford Center can contribute to the cause by purchasing tickets through a unique QR code or by using the promo code WARRICK. For every ticket sold at a price of $17, $5 will be donated directly to the WHS. This partnership underscores the Thunderbolts’ commitment to community engagement and animal welfare.

In addition to the hockey action, representatives from the Warrick Humane Society will be present at the event, bringing along adoptable dogs for fans to meet. Attendees are encouraged to stop by to learn more about the WHS’s initiatives and how they can support local rescue efforts. The organization will provide information on pet adoption and volunteer opportunities, creating a welcoming atmosphere for animal lovers.

The ‘Pucks and Paws’ event not only promotes local hockey but also raises awareness about the importance of animal rescue. By merging a fun evening of sports with a meaningful cause, the Thunderbolts hope to engage the community and inspire more individuals to consider adoption and support for homeless animals.

As the date approaches, excitement is building among fans and animal advocates alike, emphasizing the significance of this collaboration. The Thunderbolts’ initiative is an excellent example of how sports teams can positively impact their local communities while promoting a love for pets.
