Rotelli was the devoted husband of the late Patricia E. (Tierney) Rotelli, with whom he shared an incredible 58 years of marriage until her death in 2015. Born on September 12, 1934, in Framingham, he was the son of the late Richard C. and Angela (Ortenzi) Rotelli. His passing leaves a significant void in the hearts of his family and the community.
He is survived by his four children and their spouses: Richard L. Rotelli, Jr. and his wife Diana of West Greenwich, RI; Thomas C. Rotelli and his wife Kimberly of Roxborough Park, CO; Carole A. Beaulieu and her husband Thomas of Merrimack, NH; and Michael R. Rotelli and his wife Maryanne of Pepperell, MA. The family also remembers his legacy through his 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place on February 12, 2026, from 4 PM to 6 PM at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, located at 24 Worthen Street, Chelmsford. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for the following day, February 13, 2026, at 11 AM at St. Mary Parish, located at 25 North Road, Chelmsford. Family and friends are invited to meet at the church for this solemn occasion.
Following the Mass, interment will occur at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Chelmsford. The funeral will be overseen by Directors Paul A. Hardy, Jr. and Jennifer Lebaropoulos Hardy.
