Amanda Pair Foundation to Host Legacy Gala on February 21

The Amanda Pair Foundation is set to host its third annual Legacy Gala on February 21, 2026. This prestigious black-tie event will take place at the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum, running from 18:00 to 22:00. The gala aims to raise funds for vital cancer research, specifically focusing on lung cancer and ROS-1 cancers.

Attendees can look forward to an evening filled with food, drinks, dancing, and a silent auction. Proceeds from the event will support the foundation’s initiatives, which include funding research, assisting families affected by cancer, and providing scholarships to students from Vestavia Hills Elementary Liberty Park who embody the school’s core values.

Tickets are priced at $250 for individuals, $400 for couples, and $2,000 for a table of twelve. Last year, the gala exceeded its fundraising goal, attracting 230 guests and raising a remarkable $68,840, far surpassing the initial target of $43,000.

The gala is named in memory of Amanda Pair, a dedicated leader in the Parent Teacher Organization at Vestavia Hills Elementary Liberty Park, who succumbed to lung cancer in June 2022. She left behind a husband and two daughters. In her honor, her family and friends have continued to support cancer research, assist families in need, and invest in the education of future generations.

This year’s event is particularly significant as it falls within her birthday month, making it a heartfelt tribute to her legacy.

For those interested in attending, tickets and additional information can be accessed through the foundation’s official website. The gala not only promises a memorable evening but also represents a vital effort in the fight against cancer.
