Pella Regional Health Center has awarded the quarterly DAISY Award to Alli Estes, RN, BSN, recognizing her outstanding contributions to patient care in the Family Birthing unit. This national award, given at the local level, celebrates registered nurses throughout the United States who demonstrate exceptional dedication and compassion in their roles.

As part of the DAISY Award recognition, Estes received a certificate that states: “In deep appreciation of all you do, who you are, and the incredibly meaningful difference you make in the lives of so many people.” Additionally, she was presented with a hand-carved sculpture titled A Healer’s Touch, crafted by artists from the Shona Tribe in Africa, symbolizing the healing nature of nursing.
