Urgent Update: Local Students Shine on Dean’s and President’s Lists

UPDATE: Numerous students from the Loveland area have just been recognized for their outstanding academic achievements, with many earning spots on prestigious dean’s and president’s lists. This announcement, released January 20, 2026, highlights the remarkable dedication and hard work of local students attending various universities.

Joey Shinkel from Berthoud has been named to the dean’s list at Berry College, showcasing his commitment to academic excellence. Meanwhile, Alfredo Nevarez, also from Berthoud, achieved a notable spot on the president’s list at Belhaven University. These accolades reflect not only individual effort but also the supportive educational environment in our communities.

From Windsor, Hannah Peterson has made it to the dean’s list at Belhaven University, further adding to the region’s impressive academic achievements. Additionally, Austin Tice from Johnstown secured a place on the dean’s list at Olivet Nazarene University, demonstrating the diverse educational pathways available to students in the area.

Windsor’s Mackenzie Arnold and Ainsley Silberhorn have both earned spots on the dean’s list at Belmont University, while Abby Simpkins from Loveland made the dean’s list at PennWest University.
