James D. Styer, 80, Passes Away; Services Set for January 12

BREAKING: James D. Styer, a prominent figure in the electrical sales industry, has passed away at the age of 80, marking a significant loss for family and friends. Styer died on January 4, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of dedication both professionally and personally.

Styer, a veteran of the United States Army, was well-known for his extensive career at Progress Electric Supply and later at Colonial Electric Supply. His commitment to his work and community left an indelible mark that many will remember.

He is survived by his children, Andrew J. Styer, fiancé of Kimberly Moyer, and Paula Styer, spouse of Kelly Eghujovbo, along with his beloved grandchildren: Evan Styer, Luke Styer, Nathan Styer, Aiden Tobias, and Henry Moyer-Daniels. Styer was predeceased by his wife, Cynthia G. Styer, who succumbed to pancreatic cancer in 2018. To honor her memory, the family encourages donations to the Lustgarten Foundation for pancreatic cancer research.
