UPDATE: A suspect has been arrested in connection with a double shooting at a Tucson Goodwill store that left two victims in critical condition. 40-year-old Adrian William Orozco was taken into custody early this morning, just days after the incident occurred on December 26, 2025.
The shooting unfolded at a Goodwill Donation Center located near Valencia and Los Reales Roads, shocking the local community. Both victims were rushed to a nearby hospital and remain in critical condition as authorities investigate the motives behind the violent act.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that Orozco was apprehended around 5:30 a.m. today near First Avenue and Grant Road. He now faces multiple felony charges, including attempted second-degree murder, aggravated assault, auto theft, and armed robbery.
The quick arrest followed a community-led effort where residents shared the suspect’s images, leading to crucial tips for detectives. “PCSD would like to thank the community for its assistance in sharing photos of the suspect and providing valuable information to detectives over the past several days,” the sheriff’s department stated. This collaboration involved various units, including the Fugitive Investigative Unit and K-9 Unit.
A stolen vehicle linked to the incident was discovered approximately 10 miles northwest of the shooting site, further implicating Orozco in the crime.
