Two Dead in Watertown Crash; U.S. Marshals Offer $7,500 Reward

UPDATE: A tragic multi-vehicle accident in Watertown, Massachusetts, has left two people dead and authorities investigating the scene. The collision occurred around noon on Tuesday on Bigelow Avenue, where first responders found the victims had succumbed to their injuries. Watertown Police confirmed that the investigation remains active, urging the public to steer clear of the area as they gather information.

“We are deeply saddened by this tragic incident and extend our thoughts to the families and loved ones affected,” the police department stated.

In a separate urgent matter, the U.S. Marshals, in conjunction with Massachusetts State Police, are renewing their search for Davinci Leonard, a suspect charged with the double homicide of Tymari Albertson (15) and Cevannah Alvarez (18) in March 2023. Authorities believe Leonard may have fled to either Haiti or the Dominican Republic.

In a bid to expedite his capture, U.S. Marshals are offering a $7,500 reward for any information that leads to his arrest. “We are calling on the public to assist in bringing this suspect to justice,” a spokesperson for the U.S. Marshals said.

In the 24 hours leading up to 10 a.m. Tuesday, the Brockton Police Department logged 229 incidents, including arrests related to aggravated assaults and thefts. This spike in activity underscores ongoing concerns about public safety in the area.

Authorities continue to work tirelessly on both cases, and community members are urged to remain vigilant. As investigations develop, updates will be provided to keep the public informed.
