In-N-Out Burger’s Tennessee Locations Experience Long Waits

UPDATE: In-N-Out Burger’s recent expansion in Tennessee is creating a buzz as customers flock to its new locations, leading to significant wait times. Just two weeks after the grand opening of three restaurants in Antioch, Lebanon, and Murfreesboro, the excitement shows no signs of slowing down.

As of 11:30 a.m. CST on December 22, 2023, the newly launched Wait App, which tracks drive-thru and walk-in wait times, reveals a staggering 27-36 minutes for drive-thru customers and 23-44 minutes for those dining inside. This surge in business is not uncommon for In-N-Out, but these times are edging toward the high end of the spectrum, especially for new locations.

The app, developed by an unidentified individual and not officially associated with In-N-Out, employs crowdsourcing to gather data from enthusiastic diners eager to share their experiences. This real-time insight underscores the restaurant’s booming popularity since its openings on December 1 and 3.

In-N-Out’s expansion marks a significant milestone, bringing the total number of locations to 431 across 10 states. The fast-food chain, known for its fresh ingredients and secret menu, is also planning to establish its eastern headquarters in Franklin, just a short drive from Nashville, in the coming year. Owner and president Lynsi Snyder made headlines last summer announcing this major shift.

Fans of the brand from surrounding states have taken to social media platforms like Facebook, expressing hopes that In-N-Out will extend its reach further eastward. In an interview with Fox17 News in Nashville, Denny Warnick, In-N-Out’s chief operating officer, emphasized the company’s commitment to bridging the gap between Tennessee and its existing locations in Texas.

As the holiday season approaches, In-N-Out is set to close early at 11 p.m. on Christmas Eve and will remain closed on Christmas Day. The enthusiasm surrounding In-N-Out in Tennessee has prompted Warnick to comment, “Christmas came early,” reflecting the overwhelming reception the chain has received in its new market.

With the demand for In-N-Out continuing to rise, those planning to visit should prepare for long wait times. The app will likely remain a popular resource for those hoping to dodge the lines while indulging in their favorite burgers and fries.

Stay tuned for further updates as In-N-Out continues its growth in Tennessee and beyond.
