Amazon Prime Video Expands Offerings with M6+ and RTVE Channels

Amazon’s Prime Video has announced significant content partnerships in Europe, enhancing its streaming offerings in France and Spain. As of now, Prime members in France can access the M6 Group’s streaming service, M6+, at no additional cost. This agreement allows viewers to enjoy programming from channels such as M6, W9, 6ter, and Gulli, with over 30,000 hours of content available immediately.

The deal, which includes exclusive M6+ content, introduces a variety of entertainment options to Prime Video. Viewers can expect to see popular shows like the local adaptation of The Traitors, L’Amour est dans le pré, and Top Chef, alongside reality series and major sporting events, including the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the Super Bowl.

Elisabetta Carruba, Director of Prime Video Channels for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We are very pleased to welcome M6’s quality programming to Prime Video. The addition of M6 content to our service is an important step in our goal of becoming the number one entertainment destination for our customers.”

David Larramendy, Chairman of the M6 Group Executive Board, emphasized the strategic importance of this agreement, noting that it enhances the visibility of their brands and extends their reach. He remarked, “This partnership also consolidates the coverage of our offering marketed by M6 Unlimited and increases the value we bring to our customers.”

RTVE Collaboration in Spain

In a parallel move, Prime Video has secured what it describes as a “landmark agreement” with the Spanish public broadcaster RTVE. Starting immediately, Prime members in Spain can access live broadcasts from channels such as La 1, La 2, and Canal 24H without any additional fees.

This initiative aims to provide Spanish viewers with a streamlined way to enjoy RTVE’s diverse programming, which includes popular shows like MasterChef and children’s favorites such as Peppa Pig. The integration also features a dedicated section on the Live TV homepage, making it easier for subscribers to navigate.

Carruba stated, “Following the successful integrations of add-on subscriptions across Europe, we are extremely pleased to expand our collaboration with RTVE. This agreement will allow our Prime subscribers in Spain to access the complete offering of RTVE channels directly from Prime Video.”

As Amazon continues to enhance its streaming services across Europe, these strategic partnerships reflect its commitment to delivering a comprehensive entertainment experience. By adding high-quality content from established networks, Amazon positions Prime Video as a leading choice for viewers seeking diverse programming options in the competitive streaming landscape.
