The Thunderbirds showcased their talent by sending four wrestlers to the finals, culminating in a historic morning for the program.
The Thunderbirds amassed 105 points, just behind Centralia’s 115.5 points and Marceline’s 106.5 points. This marks a significant milestone for North Callaway, solidifying their place in the annals of the program’s history.

Long, a now four-time state medalist, captured his first state title after a decisive pin against Polo’s Chase Wilson at 157 pounds. Meanwhile, Moore secured his victory in a thrilling overtime bout against Cole Camp’s Grant Rodriguez, winning 3-2 at 165 pounds.
