Springfield Police and Students Join Forces for Hide-and-Seek Fun

UPDATE: Springfield Township Police and over 50 students participated in a thrilling game of Hide and Seek at Springfield High School last Thursday, marking a unique blend of community engagement and childhood nostalgia. The event, held in the chilly evening, showcased the department’s commitment to building strong community ties.

The Hide and Seek event has quickly become a beloved tradition, designed to foster camaraderie between local law enforcement and youth. Local businesses rallied behind the initiative, with DeCheco’s Pizza generously supplying pizzas, ensuring that participants stayed energized for the night’s activities.

Attendees were also excited by the prizes provided by Walmart #1911 on South Arlington Road, rewarding the most skilled hiders. One lucky participant walked away with a brand-new TV, Beats ear pods, and wireless speakers, highlighting the competitive spirit of the game.
