L.A. County Opens 140 Vote Centers Ahead of Nov. 4 Election

URGENT UPDATE: Los Angeles County has just opened an additional 140 vote centers ahead of the critical November 4, 2025 statewide special election. This expansion adds to the already established 111 sites, bringing the total to 251 vote centers available for voters.

All vote centers will operate daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. to facilitate in-person voting, voter registration, and ballot returns. With early voting now accessible, voters are encouraged to take advantage of these extended options and avoid the last-minute rush.

Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Dean C. Logan emphasized the importance of early voting, stating,

“With all L.A. County Vote Centers open, voters have convenient options to cast their ballot early. Avoid the rush, make a plan to vote early this weekend or Monday at a location that’s convenient for you.”

Voters can find a complete list and interactive map of all vote center locations at locator.lavote.gov, which includes optional GPS tracking to pinpoint the nearest centers. Additionally, eligible voters who missed the registration deadline can complete “conditional” voter registration at any vote center and cast their ballot during this election.

This election is crucial as it involves redrawing California’s congressional districts, impacting representation for millions. The decision to increase vote centers comes as part of ongoing efforts to enhance voter access and participation.
