URGENT UPDATE: Loveland is bracing for severe weather today, with a high wind warning issued until 11 a.m. and a freeze warning set to take effect at midnight. The National Weather Service has reported gusts reaching up to 48 mph throughout the day, creating hazardous conditions for residents and travelers alike.

The winds are expected to blow steadily at 24 to 29 mph during the morning hours, before tapering off to 16 to 21 mph in the afternoon. Despite these strong winds, Monday will remain mostly sunny, with temperatures peaking at around 59°F.

As night falls, temperatures are set to plummet to 32°F, prompting the freeze warning that will last until 8 a.m. Tuesday. Residents should take precautions to protect plants and vulnerable outdoor pipes from freezing temperatures.

Looking ahead, the forecast calls for a warmer Tuesday with a high near 65°F and a low of 37°F overnight. Wednesday is expected to bring continued sunshine, with temperatures climbing to around 66°F.
