Free Hazardous Waste Collection Event Set for Valencia on October 18
UPDATE: A crucial opportunity for residents to safely dispose of hazardous materials is happening on October 18 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the College of the Canyons in Valencia. The free Household Hazardous Waste and E-Waste Roundup Program allows residents to rid their homes of dangerous items responsibly.
This event, organized by Los Angeles County in partnership with Los Angeles County Public Works and the Sanitation Districts, aims to protect the environment and community health. Residents from Santa Clarita, Lancaster, and Palmdale are encouraged to participate and take advantage of this opportunity.
The collection will take place at the south parking lot located at 26455 Rockwell Canyon Road. Residents can dispose of items such as old batteries, paint, and electronic waste, which can harm the environment if not handled properly.
