Fargo’s Water Tower Wins ‘Tank of the Year’ Award Today!
UPDATE: Fargo’s stunning new water tower has just been crowned “Tank of the Year” by Tnemec, marking a significant achievement for the city. This prestigious award, announced today, October 24, 2023, recognizes the most impressive water tank coatings across the U.S. and Canada, and Fargo triumphed over more than 300 nominees.
The announcement comes as a celebration of creativity and innovation in the water tank industry. Tnemec, the company behind the award, has held this competition since 2006, showcasing the best uses of its coatings. Fargo’s water tower, located just off Seventh Avenue North, stood out for its unique design and collaborative effort.
Mayor Tim Mahoney expressed his pride in the project, stating,
