Fairfield Police Arrest Aaron Cutchon After High-Speed Chase
URGENT UPDATE: A high-speed chase in Fairfield, California, has led to the arrest of Aaron Cutchon, who is now facing multiple serious charges, including assault with a deadly weapon and driving under the influence. The dramatic pursuit unfolded around 12:03 PM when Fairfield police attempted a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Travis Boulevard.
Cutchon resisted arrest, causing his vehicle to collide with an occupied patrol car before speeding away. During his reckless escape, he was involved in three hit-and-run incidents, with one resulting in injuries. The urgency of the situation escalated as the police worked to apprehend him, leading to a chaotic scene on local streets.
After losing control and rolling his vehicle, Cutchon attempted to run from the scene on foot. He briefly evaded capture by hiding inside a nearby business on Oliver Road. However, an observant officer spotted him and quickly alerted fellow officers, leading to his swift capture.
