BREAKING: A 23-year-old man has been arrested in Dallas for allegedly soliciting the murder of ICE agents through a disturbing TikTok post. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Texas confirmed the arrest of Eduardo Aguilar, who now faces serious federal charges.

On October 9, Aguilar posted a message on TikTok that authorities interpreted as a direct threat. The post, featuring ominous black and white imagery, declared, “I need 10 dudes in Dallas with determination (guts) who aren’t afraid to [two skull emojis].” This message was followed by a shocking offer of “$10,000 for each ICE agent.”

Acting on a tip from a concerned citizen, federal law enforcement officials swiftly apprehended Aguilar, presenting the incriminating evidence that led to his arrest. Following the apprehension, Nancy E. Larson, the Acting U.S. Attorney, issued a stern warning: “Threats against our law enforcement officers are completely unacceptable.” Larson emphasized that any threats or bounties placed on agents will trigger comprehensive investigations and prosecutions.

Aguilar appeared in federal court yesterday, where a magistrate judge ordered his detention. If convicted, he faces a potential sentence of up to five years in prison. It is important to note that the allegations in the criminal complaint are not evidence of guilt; Aguilar maintains the presumption of innocence until proven otherwise.

The investigation involved multiple agencies, including the Dallas Police Department, Texas Department of Public Safety, U.S. Marshals Service, Federal Protective Service, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.

As this story develops, it underscores the rising tensions surrounding immigration enforcement and public safety. The urgency of this case highlights the serious implications of online threats in today’s digital landscape. Stay tuned for updates as authorities continue to address this alarming situation.
