Body of Portsmouth Man Found in Suffolk Field; Investigation Ongoing

UPDATE: The body of Antwan Faulcon, a 48-year-old Portsmouth man, was discovered early Sunday morning in a field in rural Suffolk. Authorities responded to the scene, located near the intersection of Old South Quay Road and Harvest Drive, at approximately 9 a.m..

Despite first responders’ efforts to revive him, Faulcon was pronounced dead at the scene. The Suffolk Police Department has confirmed that the circumstances surrounding his death are under active investigation, although no cause of death has been disclosed at this time.

This tragic discovery comes in the wake of Faulcon being previously identified as a person of interest in a September shooting incident in Portsmouth. He was reported missing on November 12, having last been seen on November 4 near London Boulevard and Goode Way. Authorities were seeking to question him regarding the shooting that occurred on September 14, which left a man injured near residences off South Street.

Detectives are currently working to confirm whether the deceased found in Suffolk is indeed the same Antwan Faulcon they were looking to interview. As the investigation unfolds, the community is left in shock, grappling with the implications of this loss.

Residents are urged to come forward with any information regarding Faulcon’s death. The Suffolk Police are requesting anyone with knowledge to contact the Suffolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or submit an anonymous tip via www.p3tips.com.
