Annual Arts & Crafts Show Moves to New Venue, Opens Nov. 22

URGENT UPDATE: The Annual Friends of the Conant Public Library Arts & Crafts Show is set to take place at a new venue this year, promising greater accessibility and more space for shoppers and vendors alike. The event will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Houghton Elementary School and Chocksett Middle School, located at 32 Boutelle Road, Sterling, MA.

This beloved community event, which has gained immense popularity over the years, will feature over 50 local artisans showcasing a wide array of handmade gift items just in time for the holiday season. “The new venue allows space for even more artists and craftspeople,” stated Beth Cyr, chairperson of the craft fair.

Attendees can expect to find high-quality, handmade products including alpaca items, aromatherapy products, beach glass art, skincare essentials, unique candles, and much more. Exciting new offerings this year include maple syrup, custom pet portraits, and vintage teacup candles. The event also features cherished traditions like a bake sale, cheese sale, raffle, and a lunch café, ensuring a festive atmosphere for all.

Admission is just $2, with all proceeds supporting programs at the Conant Public Library. Each shopper will receive a Passport, which they can get stamped at three locations for a chance to win a prize.
