Yellow Jackets Shine with Four Podium Finishes at RMAC Championships

The track and field teams from Black Hills State University achieved significant success at the 2026 RMAC Indoor Track & Field Championships, held on February 17-18, 2026, at the Mountaineer Fieldhouse, located at Western Colorado University. Both the men’s and women’s squads showcased their talent, with four athletes earning podium finishes.

The women’s team demonstrated strong performance, accumulating a total of 26.5 points to secure a ninth-place finish among competing schools. Notably, Anna Johnson clinched a second-place finish in the 800 meters with a time of 2:10.35. This result highlighted her capabilities as a middle-distance runner and contributed significantly to the team’s overall score.

In the field events, Emily Parker achieved remarkable results, placing third in the high jump with a height of 1.65 meters. Her performance not only secured valuable points for the team but also showcased her potential for future competitions.
