Arkansas Welcomes Promising Recruits for A&M Showdown

FAYETTEVILLE – The Arkansas Razorbacks are set to host a remarkable group of recruits during their upcoming game against Texas A&M. Following the recent dismissal of head coach Sam Pittman after a loss to Notre Dame, concerns about recruitment lingered. However, the program has managed to attract several high-profile prospects for this critical matchup.

Among the standout visitors will be two impressive quarterbacks from the Class of 2027. Local talent Hank Hendrix, standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 175 pounds, has caught the attention of numerous collegiate programs. This season, he has completed 125 of 198 passes for 1,923 yards, with 16 touchdowns and three interceptions. Additionally, Hendrix has contributed on the ground, rushing 31 times for 113 yards and three more touchdowns.

Joining Hendrix is Blake Roskopf, a 6-foot-6, 225-pound quarterback from Goodyear, Arizona. He has also been a target for multiple schools, having completed 148 of 230 passes for 1,771 yards, 20 touchdowns, and four interceptions in seven games. His rushing stats include 31 carries for 34 yards and two touchdowns.

Another notable recruit is linebacker Trey McGlothlin from Bixby, Oklahoma, who recently decommitted from Oklahoma State. At 6-foot-3 and 195 pounds, McGlothlin has showcased his skills on the field, contributing to his team’s perfect record. In a dominating performance, Bixby defeated Enid 92-0, with McGlothlin recording 29 tackles, including ten solo efforts, seven tackles for loss, one interception, and a fumble recovery.

Additional Recruits and Commitments

The Razorbacks are also welcoming edge rusher D’Ante Seals from Trussville, Alabama. Seals, who stands 6-foot-3 and weighs 230 pounds, has been a consistent presence at Arkansas games. In seven games this season, he has recorded 34 tackles, with 18 solo tackles, five for loss, two sacks, five quarterback hurries, and a fumble recovery.

Another intriguing prospect is wide receiver Trysten Shaw from Mesquite, Texas. Despite being committed to UCLA, Shaw is considering his options after a coaching change at the university. This season, he has caught 16 passes for 279 yards and two touchdowns.

Wide receiver Zion Hartness, from Temple, Texas, will also visit. Hartness, who measures 5-foot-11 and weighs 165 pounds, has recorded 30 receptions for 442 yards and two touchdowns, in addition to returning five kickoffs for 143 yards.
