Mitchell Christian School recently announced its Honor Roll for the second quarter, recognizing outstanding academic achievements among its students from grades six through twelve. This initiative highlights students who have excelled in their studies, showcasing a commitment to educational excellence.
Sixth and Seventh Grades Shine
In the sixth grade, students achieving a perfect GPA of 4.0 include Archie Asbenson and Lerae DeLine. Those who earned a commendable 3.5 include Malachi Baldwin, Jacqueline Haskell, Cason Helmuth, Drake Hofer, Alysha Kleinsasser, and Hannah Thorsen. Achievements continued into the seventh grade, where Lucas Blum secured a 4.0, while Cloie Hayden, Josie Maas, Mary Olson, Gabrielle Potter, and Zachary Strong were recognized with 3.5 honors. Judd Tegethoff rounded out the honors with a 3.0.

Honors Across All Grades
Eighth graders also made notable accomplishments with John Haskell and Hayes Van Genderen achieving a 4.0. Additional students, including Max Asbenson, Benjamin Baas, Zane Buche, Carly Kopfmann, Brady Mentele, Kinley Mentele, Laura Nemec, Julia Strong, and Hadassa Tschetter, earned 3.5 honors. A total of three students—William Gillen, Morgan Menning, and Samuel Severtson—achieved 3.0 honors.
The ninth grade saw Elinor DeLine and Gage Hofer obtaining 3.5 honors, while Forrest Baldwin, Sofia Dykstra, Karson Jeno, and Nicole Kleinsasser achieved 3.0 honors.
In the tenth grade, Harper Van Genderen achieved a perfect 4.0, with several students earning 3.5 honors, including Brady Asbenson and Porter DeWitt. Isaac Fischer, Ella Hogue, and Addison Nydam achieved 3.0 honors, showcasing a diverse range of academic talents.
The eleventh grade recognized Baylor Dykstra, Trudie Hofer, and Luke Mentele, all achieving a perfect 4.0. Amy Henderson, Owen Kopfmann, Makayla Strong, and Arabella Potter garnered 3.5 honors, while Silas Holdeman achieved a 3.0.
Lastly, in the twelfth grade, Hannah DeLine, Vienna DeWitt, and Auston Twiggs achieved a perfect 4.0. Casey Gromer, Caleb Joramo, Daniela Lopez Ortiz, Garrett Severtson, and Emma Weis were recognized with 3.5 honors, while Josh Brandt rounded out the list with a 3.0.
