Faith Technologies Incorporated (FTI) announced on March 14, 2026, that it will not proceed with the acquisition of the former University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Fox Cities campus. After completing its due diligence period, FTI determined that acquiring the campus buildings does not align with its long-term objectives.
In a statement, the company emphasized its commitment to seeking alternative opportunities that better fit its needs. FTI also expressed interest in exploring collaborative initiatives at the nearby Winnebago Fox campus. These may include leasing space and partnering with organizations focused on innovation and technical training.
Feedback from Local Officials
Gordon Hintz, the County Executive, commented on FTI’s decision, stating, “This was always an exploratory process and we understood there were no commitments that FTI would take on the campus.” He appreciated the thoroughness of FTI’s assessment and the constructive discussions that took place during the evaluation.
Hintz further noted that the insights gained from FTI’s feedback help to clarify the challenges and potential opportunities for redeveloping the Winnebago Fox campus. “We will work to get the Communication Arts Center and field house open to the public in the short term,” he added. “We will also embark on a visioning and market assessment to determine a future for that campus that adds to our tax base, preserves our community assets, and contributes to workforce development and quality of life in our community.”
Looking Ahead
As FTI shifts its focus away from the Wisconsin campus, local officials are tasked with finding viable paths for the site’s redevelopment. The former university campus, which has significant potential for both community engagement and economic development, remains a priority for local stakeholders.
The ongoing discussions signal a broader commitment to revitalizing the area and ensuring that it meets the evolving needs of the Menasha community. As plans develop, local leaders will continue to seek partnerships that promote innovation and growth, ensuring that the Winnebago Fox campus becomes a valuable asset for the region.
